Christmas will be here before we know it!! If you are like me, you begin to stress about all the gifts on our list to give. We often get so caught up in the commercial aspect of it that we forget the most important reason for the season. We all have seen that phrase JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON, on Christmas Cards, or somewhere during this joyous time of the year. I don’t know who came up with that very well said phrase but it is so true!! Christmas is not about how many gifts or money we can collect, or attending big parties just for the fun of it. Christmas has a reason behind it and it is of course, Jesus. Without Jesus there is no reason to celebrate at all!! He indeed is the reason for the season!! My hope is that this Christmas will indeed be a beautiful Christmas for everyone and that we may have joy in our hearts for our Savior as we celebrate. May we all have the true spirit of Christmas in the way we give. Out of those thoughts and appreciation for that well know phrase, I composed and wrote the following song:
CHRISTMAS TIME WILL SOON BE HERE,
LET’S CELEBRATE WITH JOY AND CHEER
THE GREATEST NEWS THAT CAME TO EARTH,
WHEN ANGELS PROCLAIMED CHRIST’S HOLY BIRTH.-repeat last line
THOUGH HE WAS THE KING OF KINGS,
HE LIVED LIKE A SERVANT DOING WONDROUS THINGS,
HE GAVE SIGHT TO THE BLIND AND RAISED THE DEAD,
5000 PEOPLE HE MARVELOUSLY FED,
WITH ONLY 2 FISH AND FIVE LOAVES OF BREAD.–repeat last line

SING HALLELUJAH AND LIFT UP YOUR VOICE,
GLAD TIDINGS SPREAD, LET THE WORLD REJOICE,
THAT GLORIOUS NIGHT WHEN A BABY BOY,

OUT OF HIS MOST WONDROUS LOVE,
HE LEFT HIS HEAVENLY THRONE ABOVE,
