“LOVE IS THE ANSWER”

“LOVE IS THE ANSWER”. Soon it will be Valentine’s Day and we think about the people who mean a lot to us, whether it is our spouse, our children, family members, friends or even a new exciting romance. It’s the time for sending decorated valentine cards to those who mean a lot to us.

Sometimes the very people we love can upset and hurt us the most. Life can get very complicated and we seek an answer to how we can make things right with them or how to help them. Sometimes the only solution to problems like this is to look up and know that HE who created us is LOVE and pure LIGHT.

Because of HIS great love, THE LORD admonishes all of us to love HIM with all our heart and soul, mind and strength and next to love our neighbors as ourselves. Oh wouldn’t it be a wonderful world if we could just do that?! Wouldn’t it be marvelous to live in a world where there was peace and harmony everywhere?!! Unfortunately our world is not like that at all. There will always be strife, contention and wars.

We never have learned to grasp what true love is all about. It means to love others more than we love ourselves and to even lay down our lives if necessary for those we love. It means to die to ourselves but live for others. This is something the world does not understand nor cares to understand. But a few have found the joy it can bring in their lives. And those few await that day when this can truly be a reality.

I would like to share a song with you that I wrote one day while pondering upon these things. The melody to this flows in a sparkling uplifting way. Here it is:

“WHEN LIFE OVERWHELMS YOU AND YOU FEEL SO AFRAID, AND YOU HOPE ALL YOUR PROBLEMS WILL VANISH AND FADE. YOU YEARN FOR A RAINBOW RIGHT AFTER THE RAIN, YOU LONG FOR SOLUTIONS INSTEAD OF THE PAIN”.

CHORUS: “LOVE IS THE ANSWER, LOVE IS THE KEY, LOVE IS THE BRIDGE THAT CROSSES THE SEA. LOVE IS THE ANSWER, LOVE IS THE KEY, IT OPENS THE DOOR AND SETS OUR HEARTS FREE”.

SECOND VERSE: “SOME DAYS YOU FEEL ALONE IN DEEP DESPAIR, MOST FOLKS SEEM TO BUSY TO NOTICE OR CARE. YOU WISH FOR THE FLOWERS, INSTEAD OF THE WEEDS, YOU REACH FOR THE CLOUDS, YOU PRAY GOD KNOWS YOUR NEEDS”.

CHORUS: “LOVE IS THE ANSWER, LOVE IS THE KEY, LOVE IS THE BRIDGE THAT CROSSES THE SEA. LOVE IS THE ANSWER, LOVE IS THE KEY, IT OPENS THE DOOR AND SETS OUR HEARTS FREE”!!

During this Valentine’s season may your hearts be set free by being able to forgive those who may have hurt you or seek forgiveness to those you may have hurt. May we all try to love one another the way God loves us which is far beyond what we can possibly imagine or fathom.”
